Hey guys I'm baaaaacckkkkk!!
To day it's been a shitty few weeks is an understatement! What with uncertain future about my job,car getting written off and sad losses of family and friends it's been one hell of a ride!
Being honest here,when things get rough I turn to the old junk food as a way of comfort,a short lived enjoyment that in hindsight makes things even worse. The sudden high of eating my "old foods" of crisps etc are great at the time but makes you feel lazy,unmotivated and actually dents your confidence.
Luckily for me I have great friends who tell me as it is and when you hear things like "you look tired",where's your spark gone" etc you realise that all the work you've done over the last 5 months,you are actually throwing it all away!
So yesterday I packed the good ol lunch box up and got right back on the lifestyle change ride!!
Yesterday was PAS phase three shake for brekkie,ham bagel for lunch with grapes,banana as a mid afternoon snack,chicken for tea,mixed nuts for evening snack and another PAS for bedtime.
This morning was a 6km walk(forgot to record it on STRAVA),weights and punchbag.
Shower ready for work and I'm feeling the effect of this mornings exersice already,shakes kicking in!!
Toasted bagel now,PAS before I start work then tuna and sweet potato mash for evening meal.
Seeing all the success stories on twitter has made me feel left out of the race but thinking back to the start of the year,I was one of those success stories.....losing 11lbs in first week was one of them!
So I'm back,blogs at the ready and plenty of food pics coming your way suckers!!
