So I finally sorted my head out and got off my fat arse and slotted back into "the zone" today!
I'm not going to ramble on about what a tough few weeks it's been etc......all I'm saying is that I'm feeling good about where I'm at and where I'm going.
So I hit the Tarmac this morning, did my usual route and the time was fine and I felt good, not as good as I've felt in the past but better than I thought I'd feel.
That was the easy part, hitting the weights wasn't!
I'm amazed how much strength you can lose over a few weeks. I struggled big time with my usual routine but got through it,all be it longer than usual.
So PAS phase three down my neck with a peanut butter bagel at breakfast.
Lunch was a couple breasts of chicken in a Nandos marinade, afternoon snack was a handful of mixed nuts and grapes.
Evening meal was more chicken but this time I made a huge batch of healthy curry which will keep me going tomorrow.
So all in all a good day.
I'm writing this as I'm in bed having an early night so that I can get out early again tomorrow!
Finally,as you all know I'm a bit of a rugby fanatic and it was hard hearing about the awful injury to Cardiff Blues and Wales centre Owen Williams this week.
My thoughts are with him and his family and hope that he makes a full recovery.
Talk tomorrow,
